I know, I have been getting emails asking if everything is alright, boy is it EVER!
A Lot has happened in the last month, Shawn and I have moved YEAHHH. We moved into a house with a 6 stall barn and tons of acerage for the horses. So ALL my animals are with me!!! I have been super excited, exhausted and nervous all in the same breath. So far everything has gone well. We have bush hogged the pastures and now they have nice grass coming up and left over bush hogged grass. They have plenty of trees for shade and also to use as a scratching post
.
A HUGE plus, is that our property is on surveillance 24/7!! That makes me feel so much better, its the top notch security so now I can rest a little easier with all the nut jobs out there!!
Shy Shy is doing well, I saw her trot and canter for the first time, I welled up with tears. Since I have had her she has been on a lead line or in a small area so she couldn’t. Well she did it.. was not graceful but she did it. It just felt right to see her trot off with the baby trotting at her side, I knew then it was alright. She is still eating like crazy, I did cut back her hay cause she stuffs her face on grass all day long. She is holding herĀ weight on as well. I wish her ribs would go away but, not being able to get top line muscle nothing much I can do. She has had zero seizures, zero falling down spells and only a handful of choking episodes. So all in all she is enjoying life.
Beebles WELLLLLLLLLLLL. Man o man she is a spit fire and in the same breath a total love bug! No one may enter the pasture with out scratching her withers, chest and butt first. Or she will follow and bump you. Once you give in to her command she backs of SOME! She is doing AWESOME on the lead line and getting better about the traffic noise. She has grown so much and is now eating grain, hay, grass and tasting everything she can get her mouth on. She is due for a trim again and thats scheduled for the 21st. She had her first trailering experiance on the 31st. Jess from Spirit of Hope Farm brought them over. it took a little while to get them on in the onslaught of pouring rain. But all in all it went well.
I have to say more about my other animals, we now have to old lady chickens, giving to me from a co-worker, 2 cats, and a new puppy. So we are building up to a farm!! I am going to be renting out 1 stall for $225 a month that includes bedding and buy your own hay or grain, 350 if I gotta pay for the grain and hay. I would love to get 1 boarder. My mother in-law is going to take the other stall, she has not had a horse in years and seeing my girls has lite the fire in her to get another one. She is out here daily, grooming them, helping with chores and bring them in or out when I am at work.
So instead of babbling more here are some pictures!

Congratulations on your new place. It must feel great to be able to have your horses with you. The horses look so happy and beautiful.
