Most of the horse community, knows about the clinton case and the negligence of the state on getting somethings done before more horses suffer and loose their lives. Nickernews.net has wrote some heart wrenching first hand experience with the owners and what she has observed at the farm. Please read and have a box of tissue and funnel that anger to good use.

I don’t know the people at fair play, just that someone I knew wanted to breed with their stallions and my friend who got a OTTB from them RAIL thin and very shy of people.

So please read all the articles and lets band together and bombard the state with  information. Please remember respectful and tactful gets ahead further then blaming and vulgarity!

Cabin Fever

The snow is melting the animals are picking at the grass that is exposed, slowly starting to not gorge themselves on hay and the SPUNK is over flowing.  Every morning Daylon and Jack have their sparing session while all the girls are in the field pruning my trees (insert sarcasm here).  Everyone is doing great, Maggie is having a vet and farrier trying to get to the bottom of her hind end issue. Her bump is gone but she still is not tracking right. 1 Pig has left for the market and hopefully we will be getting Rosie a female buddy with in the week. So I will post some pictures…

First up is Jack, he is my farrier horse (even though I have claimed him :)

Maggie Moo, my girl. She is the herd mom and her and Daylon are like Mother and Farther around here. She is NOT the herd boss believe it or not!!

Mystic, she is a boarders horse. Her and Beebles were born the same month and the size difference is cute. Mystic is a tri colored pony with plenty of tude and love. She and Beebles are rarely apart.

Pig, turkey and chickens, what can I say. I love them. The turkeys like to go for walks and puff up and strut for anyone that will look at them.

BOLD BLESSING the star of this blog. what can I say. Beebles has come into herself, she is stubburn, sassy yet loving and curious all at the same time. Her hoofs are coming along. She is showing she is a TB always a new scratch on her.. sighs. I predict she will be a cow horse! She LOVES herding the turkeys and chickens, is really funny. Beebles has learned to stand tied, walk on a lead line. She still gets crabby and strikes and causes a scene, but it is getting better. She loves her food and her herd. I often see her running around bucking rearing, I have even seen her chase Daylon striking the whole way. I see so much of Shy in her, its awesome. I am so glad Maggie has stepped in to be her mom and she DOES keep Beebs in line in the herd! Beebs is TALL she is about a 1/2 foot short then Maggie!!

Look how much taller she is, I think my stall doors are 4 or a little more feet tall.
